Good story, bad condition
Condition was not great. The cover was bent in the corner and looked like it had gotten wet. The pages were also bent and warped. The story was very good! The only problem was the marked condition was very inacurate

Commented more on other books in the series but these are outstanding and if you like Boba, even though they were geared more for kids, you should definitely pick up the entire series. Easy reads, with a great story that makes you truly understand the man behind the helmet.

The Clone Wars gave us a look at the man who would be the next great bounty hunter that would be an icon. This novel gives us a little opening, some of them being before episode 2, some during, and some taking right after. The adventure is okay, not really exciting and a bit too kid friendly, but it captures the kid in the mature role well. We have fear, uncertainty and it does well to keep it on the pulse of what makes a great character. We have some interaction with other extended characters momentarily. We get new species and some reintroduction to some ones left in comics and the other extended novels. The journey does well to get you into what looks to be a promising connected piece, but also open up into some relevant relationships that will connect to the universe we love so much. Let's see what else lies in store for young Fett as we continue reading his journey

Star Wars: Boba Fett #1: The Fight to Survive, by Terry Bisson

This Boba Fett series is aimed at younger readers, but as Boba Fett is one of my favorite Star Wars characters, I read everything I can find on him. This is book one of a six book series.

"The Fight to Survive" covers the events of the film, "Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones," and expands on Jango's death, Boba's upbringing, life on Kamino, and what Boba did after his father died.

The writing is at a 9 to 12 year old level, but I don't think older fans would mind it that much. I'm 24 and enjoying reading a novelization of Boba's younger days, as I don't like comics. There's some touching scenes, and it's fun to read about Boba's transformation from an orphaned ten-year-old to the merciless bounty hunter he is in the future. I can't wait to see what else Jango's black book has to say to Boba.

3/5.

A thrilling tale of Boba's struggle to make a life for himself as he faces the death of his father. I almost didn't read due to being a junior level read - but the story is definitely worth it! Book arrived on time and in great condition!

My son found this book in the school library and loved it so much i bought it for him. this is a good way to get your kids reading, the words in it will enrich their vocabulary and face it, anything that gets your kids away from the tube and reading is a positive!! shows kids how sometimes life is not fair, but even a kid can find strength from within to make it in the world. although boba is technically a bad guy in later episodes, kids really identify and love him, so the message herein is good.

The highlight of "Boba Fett: The Fight to Survive" was Boba witnessing, then dealing with his father's death. And it was cool that Boba Fett used the library on Kamino!
