#BobaFett as "Jango" in #WarOfTheBountyHunters Alpha #1 (2021)

Steve McNiven's artwork with the start of Charles Soule's storyline, where the all-black look was just nano-spray paint (that evaporates in a few days) to look less recognizable in a fight (to make some coin because Fett's broke?) and, while he's out, Han Solo in Carbonite gets stolen from him (by Qi'ra) ... and that was part one of 34

If you've read "War of the Bounty Hunters Alpha #1," which came out over a week ago, what did you think?

It's the first part of a 34 issue cross-over-and-back series involving #BobaFett delivering Han Solo to Jabba the Hutt between the events of "Empire" and "Jedi."

Part 2 came out on the 12th. Parts 3 and 4 come out on the 19th. See BFFC for the timeline details, plus how to still get this issue: https://bobafett.club/entob

#ThrowbackThursday: #BobaFett photo at Kenner vs. final cardback artwork.

The photo on the left is circa 1978, shot at Kenner with one of the pre-production Fett costumes. This "fireball" cardback first appeared with his action figure debut on a "#StarWars" cardback at the 1979 NYC Toy Fair. Only slight tweaks were made to the fireball effect before the same idea was used for some of the standard "Empire" and "Jedi" cardbacks.

#MandalorianMonday: Is that Boba Fett's armor post-Sarlacc in "Star Wars: Aftermath?" http://j.mp/1NcTDSU

Most of us imagine (or remember reading) #BobaFett escaping the Sarlacc. This is not confirmed yet in the new #StarWars canon. The brand-new book "Aftermath" drops a hint with "picked and pocked" #Mandalorian armor that's "been through hell" being found at the right place and right time -- just missing its owner.

Unlike Han Solo, Fett Always Shoots First.

In case you missed it, yesterday marked the official confirmation -- by Lucasfilm, not just some blog -- that the second #StarWars anthology film will be all about #HanSolo. But does this mean the still-rumored #BobaFett anthology film is now the third of the bunch? Or will Fett perhaps make a cameo in this one?

#ThrowbackThursday: Sarlacc Food No More. In case you missed it, yesterday J.W. Rinzler (Lucasfilm's historian) confirmed that George Lucas does indeed believe #BobaFett survived the Sarlacc.

While we've had no less than five Sarlacc "survivor" storylines, after Disney bought Lucasfilm, all of these Expanded Universe ideas were officially tossed aside. Yesterday's public declaration on Rinzler's Reddit AMA is only the second time Lucas has said Fett lives, after many times saying Fett dies. And this time it wasn't just a hot mic picking up Lucas like at the 2012 Star Wars Celebration VI convention.
